Encore Sotheby’s International Realty Secures Largest Sale in Company History

Encore Sotheby’s International Realty in Indianapolis, IN is proud to announce the recent sale of 6310 Trusdell Avenue at Lake Wawasee in Syracuse, Indiana for $3,800,000.  The sale is not only Encore Sotheby’s International Realty’s largest sale in its 2 ½ year history, but also the largest home sale in MIBOR (Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of Realtors) year to date and second largest home sale in MIBOR since 2005.

Custom designed and constructed in 2000, this stunning home is situated on 1.33 acres including 140 feet of waterfront on beautiful Lake Wawasee.  The home offers unique spaces throughout, including a gourmet kitchen, open great room and formal dining space, and striking sunroom with 180 degree views of the water.  Natural light floods much of the home and allows for spectacular views of the property.

“To represent such an elegant home was quite an honor for me,” says Sheri Putman, REALTOR® with Encore Sotheby’s International Realty, who secured the listing of the home in October of 2011 and completed the sale in August of 2012.  “Through our comprehensive global marketing initiatives, we received inquiries about the home from all over the United States, and the world.  What a coincidence it was that the purchaser was an Indianapolis resident!”  The buyer was represented by Timothy O’Connor of Prudential Indiana Realty.

“Providing a superior level of service has been our mission since bringing the Sotheby’s International Realty franchise here 2 ½ years ago.  It’s not a surprise that the Encore Sotheby’s International Realty brand and its agents appeal to homeowners at this price level.  We are honored to have represented such a remarkable home and ultimately its sale,” says Mark Zukerman, Founding Principal of Encore Sotheby’s International Realty.
